1. Introduction
In short: This is what we collect and what we do with it. We’re based in Delaware. Contact info@techbridgelabs.com with questions.
This Privacy Policy describes how TechBridge Labs, LLC (“Streaminal”, “we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use streaminal.com and the Streaminal service (the “Service”). TechBridge Labs, LLC is the data controller of your personal data.
We operate out of Delaware, USA. You can reach us about privacy at info@techbridgelabs.com.
By using the Service you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with it, please do not use the Service.
2. What we collect
In short: Account info you give us, the content you upload, the stream keys for your platforms, and usage and technical data.
Account and payment data
When you create an account we collect your email address, a hashed password, and any display name or billing details you provide. When you subscribe we collect the billing address you enter, and we receive a Stripe customer ID and the last four digits of your payment card. Full card numbers are stored and processed by Stripe, not by us.
Content you upload
We store the videos, audio tracks, images, overlays, playlists, schedules, and related metadata you upload to or create in the Service. We process this content to broadcast it to the Destination Platforms you configure.
Platform credentials
To broadcast on your behalf, we store the stream keys, OAuth tokens, or other credentials you provide for YouTube, Twitch, Kick, or any custom RTMP endpoint. These credentials are stored encrypted and used solely to operate the Service.
Usage and technical data
When you use the Service we collect technical information including your IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, referrer, pages viewed, actions taken, error logs, and aggregate viewer and engagement metrics returned by Destination Platforms. We use this to operate and improve the Service, troubleshoot issues, and detect abuse.
3. How we use your information and legal bases
In short: We use your data to run Streaminal, process payments, broadcast your streams, keep things secure, and (with your consent) measure site traffic.
We use the information described above for the following purposes, and we rely on the following legal bases under the EU and UK GDPR:
| Purpose | Data used | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|
| Providing and operating the Service, including hosting your content and broadcasting to Destination Platforms | Account data, content, platform credentials | Contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b)) |
| Processing payments and managing subscriptions | Account and payment data | Contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b)) |
| Sending transactional emails (signup, password reset, receipts, billing issues) | Account data | Contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b)) |
| Troubleshooting, abuse prevention, fraud detection, and security | Usage and technical data, account data | Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) |
| Website analytics (aggregate traffic measurement) | Cookies, usage data | Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), where applicable |
| Complying with legal obligations (tax, accounting, valid legal requests) | Account and payment data | Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)) |
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your content to train AI models.
4. Who we share data with
In short: Four service providers help us run Streaminal. Here they are and what they do.
To operate the Service we rely on the following sub-processors. They only receive the data they need to perform their role, and they are bound by contracts that require them to protect your data.
| Sub-processor | Purpose | Location |
|---|---|---|
| Stripe | Payment processing | United States |
| Hetzner | Hosting, storage of uploaded content, stream infrastructure | European Union (Germany and Finland) |
| Google Analytics | Aggregate website analytics | United States |
| SendGrid | Transactional email (signup, password reset, receipts) | United States |
We will update this list when we add, change, or remove a sub-processor.
We may also share data (a) with law enforcement or regulators when required by valid legal process; (b) to protect our rights, property, or safety, or those of our users or the public; and (c) in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to standard confidentiality obligations and an obligation for the recipient to honor this Privacy Policy.
5. International data transfers
In short: Some of our providers are in the US. For EU users, we rely on approved transfer mechanisms.
Streaminal operates from the United States, and some of our sub-processors (Stripe, Google Analytics, SendGrid) process data in the United States. Hetzner, our hosting provider, stores most of your uploaded content in the European Union.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, your personal data may be transferred to the United States or other countries that do not provide the same level of data protection as your home country. For those transfers we rely on appropriate safeguards, which may include:
- The EU–US Data Privacy Framework, where the recipient is certified.
- Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.
- Other mechanisms permitted under applicable law.
You can contact us at info@techbridgelabs.com to request more information about the specific safeguard used for a given transfer.
7. How long we keep your data
In short: We keep what we need while your account is active, plus a short grace period. Billing records we keep longer because the law requires it.
We keep different categories of data for different periods:
- Account data: while your account is active, and for 30 days after account closure, after which it is deleted. Billing records (invoices, payment history) are retained for up to 7 years to comply with tax and accounting obligations.
- Content you upload: while stored in your account. Content you delete, or content remaining when you close your account, is deleted from our systems within 30 days. Short-lived cached copies may persist briefly during that process.
- Platform credentials: until you disconnect the Destination Platform or delete your account. We then delete the credentials from our active systems.
- Usage and log data: for up to 90 days on a rolling basis, then automatically purged.
- Analytics data: retained by Google Analytics according to its default retention period (currently 14 months), unless we configure a shorter window.
We may retain information for longer where required by law, to comply with a legal obligation, to resolve disputes, or to enforce our agreements.
8. Your rights
In short: You can ask us to show, correct, delete, or export your data. Email info@techbridgelabs.com.
Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights over your personal data:
- Access: ask what personal data we hold about you and get a copy.
- Correction: ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Deletion: ask us to delete your personal data, subject to legal retention obligations.
- Portability: ask for a copy of your data in a common machine-readable format.
- Objection or restriction: object to, or ask us to restrict, certain uses of your data based on legitimate interest.
- Withdraw consent: where we process your data based on consent (for example, analytics cookies), you can withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing we did before withdrawal.
- Opt out of “sale” or “sharing” (CCPA): Streaminal does not sell your personal information and does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. If that ever changes, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide an opt-out mechanism.
- Lodge a complaint: if you are in the EU, UK, or Switzerland, you have the right to complain to your local data-protection supervisory authority.
To exercise any of these rights, email info@techbridgelabs.com. We will respond within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.
9. Security
In short: We use standard security practices. No system is perfect, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.
We take reasonable and appropriate measures to protect your personal data, including:
- Encryption of data in transit (TLS/HTTPS).
- Encryption at rest for stored platform credentials.
- Access controls limiting who on our team can see personal data.
- Regular security review of our infrastructure and dependencies.
- Incident response procedures.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. While we work to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a data breach affecting your personal data, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by applicable law.
10. Children
In short: Streaminal is for adults only. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
The Service is not directed to children under 18, and you must be at least 18 years old to create an account. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.
If you are a parent or guardian and you believe your child has created an account or provided us with personal data, please contact info@techbridgelabs.com and we will delete the information promptly.
11. Changes, contact, and language
In short: We’ll update this policy when things change. Email info@techbridgelabs.com for privacy questions.
